South Korean brokerage Kiwoom Securities is reportedly seeking to acquire a stake in cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb. The move is part of a broader race among Korean brokerages to secure a foothold in the crypto industry ahead of the Financial Services Commission's new regulatory reforms planned for July 2025.
