Man who killed wife and staged train accident gets life sentence on appeal

The Court of Appeal in Gdańsk upgraded the sentence of 36-year-old Tomasz K. from 26 years to life imprisonment. He had murdered his wife in the Kashubia region of northern Poland and staged her death to look like a railway accident. The court found the original sentence insufficient for the gravity of the crime.
