17 People Drown in Poland in a Single Sunday – Police Urge Caution

Seventeen people drowned in Poland on a single Sunday, far exceeding the previous worst day in June when four deaths were recorded. Since the start of June, 56 people have drowned in Polish waters. Police are urging the public to stay vigilant, stressing that most drowning deaths are preventable.
