Berlin delays financial support for Polish WWII victims as survivors die off

Germany has yet to decide on financial support for Polish victims of the Nazi regime during World War II, according to Germany's Süddeutsche Zeitung. The delay is critical as ageing survivors continue to die before receiving any compensation. Donald Tusk's government has made clear it does not want the payments to be perceived as charity rather than genuine reparations.
