Record heat in Poland but no power outages — grid operator reassures

Record temperatures in Poland have significantly increased electricity demand. Maciej Wapiński, spokesman for Polish Power Grids (PSE), confirmed that despite the heatwave there have been no interruptions in electricity supply to consumers. The grid operator says the situation is being continuously monitored.
