Polish PM's office paid 73,500 zł for children's trip — funds sent to private account, event unconfirmed
In 2022, the Polish Prime Minister's Chancellery under Mateusz Morawiecki transferred 73,500 zł to the Macierz Polonii Foundation for a holiday trip for children from Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. Investigative portal Zero.pl reports the funds were sent to a private bank account rather than the foundation's account. An audit could not confirm the trip ever took place. The foundation is linked to a former TVP commentator.
