Storms and hail strike western Poland after 40°C heat — cars damaged in Wielkopolska
After record heat reaching 40°C, violent thunderstorms, hailstorms and heavy rain swept across western Poland. The worst damage was reported in the Wielkopolska and Lubuskie regions, where falling tree branches damaged parked cars. Firefighters responded to numerous call-outs, and Monday brings more storm alerts alongside continued extreme heat.
