Thousands of Kurds rally in Turkey demanding release of PKK leader Öcalan

Thousands of Kurds rallied across Turkey demanding the release of PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and other prisoners. Demonstrations took place in several locations around the country. Öcalan has been held in a Turkish prison since 1999.
