Permanent US base in Poland: talks advance, Rzeszów and Poznań among candidates
Polish Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announced that negotiations with the US over a permanent military base in Poland are entering a new phase. Rzeszów and Poznań are among the locations under consideration. The Pentagon is conducting a force review that will underpin further decisions. Kosiniak-Kamysz stressed that Poland will bear a significant share of the costs.
