Thunderstorms, Hail and 40°C Heat – Severe Weather Hits Poland

A wave of dangerous thunderstorms with hail, strong gusts and heavy rainfall is sweeping across Poland. At the same time, temperatures are expected to reach up to 40°C in eastern, southern and central regions of the country. The extreme heat and storms mark the peak of a difficult weather period that began over the weekend.
