Polish Ombudsman Warns: Ukrainian Refugees Lose Free Housing on 30 June 2026

Poland's Commissioner for Human Rights (RPO) has raised the alarm that Ukrainian citizens staying in collective accommodation centres will lose their right to free housing on 30 June 2026. The change will hit hardest single parents with multiple children, minors in foster care and their guardians. The RPO is calling for action to protect the most vulnerable groups from losing their shelter.
