Scientists achieve precise control of disorder in nanopattern arrays
A team led by Prof. So Youn Kim of Seoul National University developed a method to precisely design and control the "degree of disorder" in nanopattern arrays using metal-infiltrated block copolymer thin films. The research was conducted in collaboration with DGIST and Sungkyunkwan University, and published in Nature Communications, where it was selected as an Editors' Highlight in materials science and chemistry. The technique could enable new advances in wave-guiding photonic devices.
