Parking on the pavement in Poland – when it's legal and how to avoid a fine
Polish traffic law allows pavement parking only under specific, strictly defined conditions — not every driver is permitted to do so. The key requirement is leaving at least 1.5 metres of clear space for pedestrians. Failing to observe the detailed rules on road type, vehicle weight and road markings results in a fine.
