Poland braces for storms and heat up to 42°C — nationwide RCB alert issued

Poland's national meteorological institute IMGW has issued level-2 storm warnings for the north of the country. Heat alerts remain in force across the nation, with temperatures forecast to reach up to 42°C. The Government Security Centre (RCB) sent a nationwide SMS alert with safety recommendations for dealing with the extreme heat and storms.
