40°C Sunday in Poland — shops open, sanitary chief advises 2–3 hours in air-conditioned spaces

Temperatures in Poland are forecast to reach up to 40°C on Sunday 28 June. Chief Sanitary Inspector Dr Paweł Grzesiowski advised on TVN24 that people spend two to three hours in well air-conditioned spaces during the weekend. Shops will be open on Sunday, providing accessible relief from the extreme heat.
