Poland: heatwave peaks Sunday, then violent thunderstorms expected

Poland is set for the peak of its heatwave on Sunday, after which wetter air moving in from the west will collide with the dry air mass currently sitting over the country. TVN Meteo forecaster Tomasz Wasilewski warned this will fuel the formation of thunderstorm clouds, bringing violent storms after the heat. Unstable weather is expected in the days ahead.
