Pole Tomasz Sobania sets world record: 50 marathons in 50 US states in 49 days

Tomasz Sobania became the first person to complete 50 marathons in 50 US states in just 49 days, breaking the previous record set by Dean Karnazes. He finished his final run on the iconic Times Square in New York City. Originally aiming simply to be the second person to finish the challenge in 50 days, Sobania decided to go for the record outright.
