IMGW issues top-level heat alerts — temperatures up to 42°C, violent storms expected

Poland's national weather service IMGW has issued top-level third-degree heat alerts covering almost the entire country. Forecasters warn that temperatures could reach as high as 42°C in some areas. Violent thunderstorms with wind gusts of up to 100 km/h are also expected.
