From 1 July 2026, parcels from Temu and AliExpress face a flat €3 customs fee

From 1 July 2026, the EU will scrap the customs exemption for parcels from outside the bloc worth up to €150. A flat fee of €3 per parcel will replace the current exemption. The change will hit shoppers on platforms such as Temu, Shein and AliExpress hardest, though all parcels from outside the EU will be affected.
