Lewandowski's mother-in-law on Warsaw Uprising: "Better the Gestapo than Ukrainians"
A resurfaced video of Maria Stachurska — mother-in-law of footballer Robert Lewandowski — is again circulating online, in which she quotes victims of the 1944 Warsaw Uprising Wola massacre: "They prayed only that it was better to fall into the hands of the Gestapo than the Ukrainians." The clip was reshared by Paweł Usiądek and triggered a wave of strong reactions from Polish internet users.
