Rail police chief's company sold equipment to Warsaw police – anti-corruption agency to investigate
Poland's Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) is to investigate a public tender in which Warsaw's Metropolitan Police Command purchased specialist equipment from a company owned by the head of the Railway Protection Service, Jarosław Garstka. Garstka denied any wrongdoing, saying regulations did not prohibit the transaction and that police saved nearly 200,000 złoty through the deal. The case raises conflict-of-interest concerns.
