Ten years after Brexit, British strawberries are picked by Central Asian workers
A decade after Brexit, the majority of Britain's seasonal agricultural workers come from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and other Central Asian countries. Agricultural leaders warn that without these workers, many farms would simply fail. Brexit cut off access to cheap EU labour, forcing British farmers to recruit from far further afield.
