Messi scores 19th World Cup goal — sets new consecutive-match scoring record
Lionel Messi came on just after Jordan pulled it back to 2-1 and scored a free-kick within 20 minutes to make it 3-1 for Argentina. The eight-time Ballon d'Or winner scored in his seventh consecutive World Cup match, setting a new all-time record. The Argentine now has 19 career World Cup goals in total.
