Lightning fries weather radar — JetBlue A320 diverts to JFK
A JetBlue Airbus A320 flying from Westchester to Orlando was forced to divert to John F. Kennedy Airport in New York after a lightning strike damaged its onboard weather radar. The crew decided to change course as a safety precaution. No one on board was injured, and the aircraft returned to service after repairs.
