Tony Brown, host of landmark Black affairs TV show, dies at 93
Tony Brown, journalist and TV host best known for "Tony Brown's Journal," one of the longest-running public affairs shows aimed at Black audiences in America, has died at 93. Throughout his career he interviewed prominent figures including Jesse Jackson and Lena Horne. Brown guided his programming decisions by asking himself: "Will it help Black people?"
