Sony's New Lytia 610 Sensor Aims to Close the Quality Gap Between Main and Secondary Phone Cameras
Sony has developed the new Lytia 610 image sensor with the goal of narrowing the performance and quality gap between a smartphone's main camera and its secondary lenses. Secondary cameras such as ultrawide and telephoto modules have traditionally lagged behind the primary sensor. The Lytia 610 is Sony's attempt to bring those cameras closer to parity.
