Flaxseed foot soak softens cracked heels without a pumice stone
A flaxseed foot soak is a cheap, natural home remedy for soft, smooth heels. The gel released by the seeds deeply moisturises skin, soothes cracked heels and repairs dry skin without any need for a pumice stone. To prepare it, steep a tablespoon of flaxseeds in hot water until a gel forms, then soak feet for around 15 minutes.
